Spooky Chains

About Spooky Chains

Spooky Chains is a fun Halloween puzzle game. Tap a tile and drag through matching nearby items to make a chain of 3 or more. The items vanish, and the tiles turn golden. New items drop into the empty spots. Your goal is to turn all tiles golden. Early levels are easy, but later ones bring more challenge. Sometimes a Flying Witch glides across the board. Tap her while she flies to watch a reward ad. After the ad, she blasts some tiles into golden. You can also watch a reward ad to remove the timer and play without time pressure.

How to play

Tap a Halloween tile, then drag your finger or mouse through neighbouring tiles with the same symbol to form a chain of three or more. When you release, the chain disappears, new tiles drop in and every square in the chain turns golden. Keep making matches until every tile on the board has been turned to gold; special events like the Flying Witch can help you light up extra spaces.

Tips and tricks

Instead of clearing short chains immediately, look for ways to extend them around corners and through tight gaps to light up more tiles at once. Focus on dark squares that are hard to reach, building chains that snake through them rather than playing in already-golden areas. On timed stages, make a quick plan before you start dragging so you can move smoothly from one big match to the next.

Why this game works well at school or work

Spooky Chains mixes fast visual matching with simple, drag-based controls, so it feels active without being stressful. Most levels are short and self-contained, making it a fun way to clear your head during a brief break. The Halloween theme is playful and light, and the game runs in the browser, so it works well on shared school or office devices.
