Corners Classic

About Corners Classic

In our corner version, you can improve your analytical skills and strategic thinking while immersing yourself in an atmosphere of calm and coziness. - Computer Play: Battle a virtual opponent whose difficulty ranges from beginner to master. Upgrade your skills and take on new challenges. - Play with a friend: Have fun playing on the same board with a loved one. See who can handle the pieces better!

How to play

Choose whether you want to play against the computer or share the board with a friend. On your turn, move one of your pieces toward the opposite corner of the board by sliding it to an adjacent empty space or jumping over neighbouring pieces into an empty square beyond. Your goal is to transfer all of your pieces from your starting corner into the target corner before your opponent does the same.

Tips and tricks

Build "bridges" of pieces that your checkers can jump across to cover long distances in a single turn, but be careful not to leave open paths your opponent can use even better. Early in the game, focus on moving pieces out of your starting corner so you do not block yourself in. Think a few moves ahead before making a big jump chain—sometimes leaving one piece behind as a future stepping stone is more useful than rushing it forward.

Why this game works well at school or work

Corners Classic plays like a traditional board game, with turns that can be taken slowly and paused between moves. It encourages strategic thinking, planning and patience rather than fast reactions, which makes it a good match for calm breaks between lessons or tasks. Because it runs in the browser and supports both local multiplayer and AI opponents, it is easy to set up on shared school or office computers.
